Aballay was an ill-tempered gaucho, but sometimes the image reflected by a mirror makes a man reconsider his whole life. After killing a man, the terrified look of the victim’s son raised Aballay’s consciousness about his savagery. Years go by, Aballay makes a promise and keeps it: he doesn’t kill or steal again. He becomes a sort of saint to people’s eyes. But that kid’s look doesn’t leave him. Aballay knows that the kid will look for him… And he will find him.
